Fuel pellets producing plant in Yemelchyno, Zhytomyr Region, Ukraine
At the present day total plant capacity installed in Zhytomyr Region, at 350 km distance from Ukrainian-Polish border is 50 000 ton per year. The lines are fully automated and can be operated by a minimal number of workers.
Total territory of the plant – 1,7 ha
The production site consists of two buildings:
- Production building (with a total square of 1080 m²)
- Storage room (with a total square of 938 m²)
The production site has energy, gas and water supply. As the expansion of the production line is planned, that will cause higher energy consumption, a separate power supply line was provided for the plant.
The production site is equipped with good automobile communications.
The site is equipped with support service vehicles, which enables effective operation of the site with minimal involvement of hand work.
83 wood processing enterprises are situated within 100 km distance from Yemelchyno, such as forestry enterprises, saw-mills, woodworking enterprises. At present the plan cooperates with 27 suppliers. Long-term agreements are concluded with 8 state forestry enterprises:
- DP “Yemelchynske LSKh”
- DP “Gorodnytske LSKh”
- Novograd-Volynske GLMKh
- DP “Bilokorovitskyi LSKh”
- DP “Olevske LSKh”
- DP “Olevske LSKh APK”
- DP “Korostenske LMKh”
- DP “Baranivske LMKh”
Besides, 19 agreements were concluded with private forestry and wood-processing enterprises.
The plant has its own truck feet. Raw material collection is provided with the help of special containers, posted at the suppliers’ territory.
The volume and amount of by-products of these suppliers can provide uninterrupted work of the production lines with the capacity of 7 ton per hour on condition the logistics is organized in a due manner.
The production conforms to ТU U 20.1-31281790-001: 2008 and European DIN standard.
